No show de ontem, em Nagoya, Bob Dylan resolveu incluir a canção “Workingman’s Blues #2” ao repertório fazendo uma releitura fantástica.
A música se aproxima de “Nettie Moore”, também de Modern Times (2006), apesar de manter a mesma cadência harmônica do original. Depois do refrão, uma parada com uma mudança na tonalidade (na primeira vez ficou bem dissonante, mas nas outras soou bem – o que pode indicar o frescor do arranjo).
Além disso, o incansável Dylan fez mais mudanças na letra. “Workingman’s Blues #2” já tinha passado por algumas alterações líricas nos últimos anos, mas dessa vez ele resolveu alterar quase integralmente a última estrofe.
