A NPR divulgou mais uma música do próximo álbum de Dylan, Tempest. Assim como “Early Roman Kings”, a canção da vez também está na íntegra. Trata-se de “Duquesne Whistle”, escrita por Dylan e Robert Hunter (que co-escreveu algumas músicas de Together Through Life).

Para quem não sabe, Tempest tem data de lançamento para o dia 11 de setembro.
Depois de ser trilha para um teaser de uma nova séria, a gravadora Columbia liberou o primeiro single de Tempest, álbum de Dylan que será lançado no dia 11 de setembro.
Além de ter sido influênciado diretamente por “Manish Boy” de Muddy Waters e principalmente “I am a man” de Bo Didley, Bob usou da frase “I ain’t dead yet”, criada por Woody Guthrie, que em 1961 deu um bilhete a Dylan com a frase para comprovar que ainda estava vivo.

O cineasta Michael Moore participou do disco “Occupy This Album” cantando a música “The Times They Are A-Changin’”. Em sua releitura, Moore fez uma alteração na letra: no trecho “Come senators, congressmen, Please heed the call, Don’t stand in the doorway, Don’t block up the hall”, ele substituiu “block up” por “fuck up”.

O projeto tem como objetivo, além de fornecer recursos para o movimento “Occupy Wall Street”, documentar as várias músicas que trilharam os dias de ocupação. Para manter a temática “99%”, “Occupy This Album” terá 99 faixas (em quatro CDs). Além do cineasta, diversos músicos participaram, como: Ani DiFranco, Crosby and Nash, Jackson Browne, Tom Morello, Willie Nelson, The Guthrie Family e muitos outros.
O lançamento será dia 15/05.
